Unjustified Ring

The composition was created for personal series themed as ‘Baseless People’, But this composition as an individual one is named as “Unjustified Ring” where i want to represent my view of our baseless community through experiences and stories i witnessed. I wanted to draw, the baseless things and traditions and unnecessary rituals our community has or rituals that are forced by the community of baseless people around us, and the struggles of a relationship within it.

In this composition i would like to explain about the background that i have used according to the concept, it was my attempt to suggest clouds! Clouds as the surrounding community which are dull, but it is a hope to fulfil our thirst, like a loving dream but with a warning of fearing dangerous thunder lightening, a calm view and a moist atmosphere to fall in love with, but it is just the surrounding not the life to live with! clouds are soothing but not for long, they are just wide open faded spaces, and the worst thing is when this clouds bang in, burst and it starts raining, again its a loving view to watch from window when it rains, but outside the house. Because when it rains inside the house it is not an achievement, it is stress! similarly this clouds representing our surrounding baseless community should be always outside our ring of relationships, even if they are loving or warning. they should not effect our personal spaces where there is no need.

Then comes the figures in the composition, which is suggesting a form of circle/ figures of two people representing a couple or a relationship forming a ring which represents the personal space and their boundaries, holding hands and leaning over each other. How a ideal relationship should be with understanding, supportive, helpful, caring, and the most important thing is a belief should never lack in relationships, a relationship should build a ring of personal space with the walls of this qualities to keep away the clouds of unjustified communities. But this was and is never a easy task to follow and similarly i have made an attempt to represent this situation is like, yes the couple has made a ring of personal space but this constructions make them weak and they are shown weak but then the support of the partner should always be there. The figures in this composition are suggesting the same, a huge figure which represents man of the house is bent down but then the house maker the figure below that representing a women is supporting the man to be still at a position, this things are like gems which are worth to have in any relationships ( love and belief)when we make an attempt to have a healthy justified ring of relationship, avoid the clouds of community to affect our personal space.

After forming a ring of a justified ring of relationship we have a clear view of community that we want to live with, which is represented by the forms of buildings. The name Unjustified Ring was given because i wanted to combine the positives and negatives together. Other details to talk about like, Why ring ? because when talking about relationships, ring is a medium which holds you together as partners no matter which religion you belong. Why the forms of hands in the figure are shown big ? it is because if we want the things to go well, or achieve something we need to work hard, we do work with brains but what ever we think is performed by our hands so working hard is represented by the big form of hands. Why dark space in side the ring that couple have formed in the composition if that represents the ideal space of any healthy relationships ? A good contrasts gives us clear view, what I exactly wanted to represent in that space.

Why only the black ink is used in the whole composition? Black colour is a neutral colour according to basic colour theories, which is a great mixture of optimistic and pessimistic views. This is how i have sketched out my thought about how this Unjustified Rings (the broken relationships) today because of the baseless community which really have nothing to do with our personal life and struggles, effect a lot .

Juvenile

 

Juvenile means young. This composition is about young generations. The genetarion of 20th century. 

writing about this composition, i wanted to represent our youth in a positive attitude with trendy attire. You and me the young generation of this whole world have usually gone through many questions about our dressing, stability, use of new technologies, education and behavioures etc. But when it comes to me talking about myself as a youth i would like to express that we are the fastest among all the people around us at present. Our education and progressive thinking has brought us at this stage. I have made two figures of a girl and a boy which represents friendship in this generation, today we are friends with everyone we want. it can be through social interactions or physical experiences. We all just have our own personal but smililar experiences within. this figures in the compositions are made very sharp and edged with lines through which i want to represent our sharp experience they have being a tweintieth generation which can hurt others but similarly they are more attractive to envy. This figures are shown as if they are interacting with each other through a smartphone which a remarkable and such a innovative creation used buy our Juveniles. i have not shown their complete figures, if you can notice i’ve not shown their legs but he figures are in a sitting position, it is because i wanted to show juveniles(youth) are not settled but we are stable! The form of the mobile phone added is just to enhance the theme of the composition like Smart Phones =Smart generations, the blue bold patch like a bench in the composition is to represent our stability and responsibility and blue colour represents the same.

Juveniles(youth) of this genetrations are more interactive they have soo many questions, ideas and skills to give our amibitions a concrete structure. We are always pointed about our addiction to this very innovative gadget called mobile, but is not addiction always but a smarter and faster way to reach to the corners of world within a moment of time and why not make use of such great creation. We as juvenile, are thoughful person to think and decide all the do’s and don’ts for ourselves and we are mature enough to not force them on the people around us. But even then we listen people and their opinons. We are strong enough not in a physical way but we are proud JUVENILE’s of this world who are a part of our past generations who preserve but represent our past in every possible way, who are not addicted but are interactive, who are skilled but can follow guided directions, we are educated. We just need to be trusted and supported in any way that one can. We are responsible Juvniles!

Women

Women empowerment is the key to       strengthen their participation in the decision-making which is the most important key to socio-economic development. 

we all know that without women (our grandmother,mother,sister,daughter,wife, etc) we cannot perform our daily routine. Women in the home are only responsible for preparing our food, washing our clothes, and other activities. It is a big question that why only women, why not men are responsible for the same. Why we (men) are not responsible to prepare our food or wash our clothes or other works of daily routine. Why only women are given pressure in the family or society to get early in the morning, do all the household chores, keep fast and do puja for the wellness and prosperity of whole family. It is the matter of laugh that they are promoted for household responsibilities from childhood however they are demoted to do outside works a!nd leadership like men. Why?

We have all the answers of each and every question however do not want to think and discuss because men want to dominate always over women in all areas excluding household responsibilities. 

The painting which i have made is completely about what l understand and experienced about a women .

Her sharp edged figure is the stiffness she has got with her own personal experiences. As we all know according to Indian rituals our godess is dressed in green and so this godess is also painted in green. And her red skin indicates her enthusiasm and energy she has into.

The baby on her back shows how she is good at balancing her responsibilities. Her legs shows how she is a strong and stiff working women and a passionate beautiful girl but she always shows her strong side and hides her real ambitions within. She is standing or balancing herself only in limited space given by our society and only some have understood this shows her shadow.

She works, makes twisted works straight, ears and saves, she bows herself to everyone not because she is weak but she knows that she is strong and what respect really means, love her once she will love and respect you for her life. And the golden border is what she has earned with her education and hardwork.

She is not a godess with extra hands, and supernatural powers, she is a women with two hands to work, two legs to take each step furtein life, a strong back to handle responsiblities and a brain to think and make right decisions. She is more than any godess, respect her, acknowledge her. Thats all we can do for her.

I have often found that what drives me to achieve anything is purely down to my questioning nature. I love the exploration of the unkown and to visualize things in a different perspective from other’s.
